Rocheflamme country gîtes offer you a personalized welcome in a small rural village located 850m high on Le Causse de Sauveterre (limestone plateau), on the edge of Tarn Gorges: Cauquenas.
Cauquenas is a typical Causse village with its old baker’s oven, its “ferradou” (a “machine” to shoe horses) and its characteristic stone houses with chalky lauze roofs. It is situated on the road between Le Point Sublime and La Malène.
Erected 5 minutes from the Tarn Gorges, on the Caussenard plateau, the Rocheflamme gîtes are ideally located to offer you calm and beautiful landscapes as well as fishing and water activities in the gorges.
Near the gîtes, you’ll find many famous touristic places: Les Cevennes, Dargilan grottos, l’Aven Armand, Millau viaduct, Roquefort cheese caves...
